The Ultimate Guide to Mommy & Me Shopping

Is there anything better than matching with your little one? (I’m going to say, no.)

There are few things more special for a kid than dressing like their mom. Not only does it make for adorable photos, but it can make a little girl (or boy!) feel on top of the world and create core memories.

From the second my daughter was born, I told myself that I would match her as long as she’d let me and have made it my mission to find us adorable matching outfits to wear for both everyday and special occasions. Below is my ultimate guide to websites that feature Mommy & Me outfits!

Everyday Outfits

Auguste:

Boden: I got my love of Boden from my momma so it holds a special place in my heart. Time, and time again, i’m so impressed with the quality of the items I buy from Boden and it’s one of the few brands I can say holds up to a messy toddler and still looks new. They don’t do a large Mommy & Me collection but the styles they do have are very unique.

Cleobella:

Gap: timeless styles for the whole family.

Hill House Home: easy matching dresses! Their nap dress became iconic during the pandemic and they have continued to evolve the style from there.

Ivy City Co.

J. Crew & J. Crew Factory

Joyfolie:

Kenny Flowers: love their bright prints for spring and summer!

Lilly Pulitzer: signature Lilly never goes out of style. I was gifted matching Lilly outfits by my sisters shortly after my daughter was born and it basically started my matching obsession.

Little Mama Shirt Shop: fun graphic t-shirts that are always on-trend. I love their seasonal collections.

Maisonette: love shopping Maisonette for more than just clothes but they always feature new or smaller Mommy & Me brands that are fun to explore

Mia Belle Girls:

Nordstrom: I think Nordstrom could have a stronger presence in the Mommy & Me world but occasionally I find a cute style.

Old Navy: we love Old Navy for inexpensive Holiday pieces and to get Dad in on the matching.

Pink Lily:

Roller Rabbit: investment pieces but I have found that because many of their styles tend to be loose, I get more than one year out of the kids dresses

Roolee:

Rylee + Cru: similar to Roller Rabbit, I find that when the styles are more flowy and less fitted we usually get 2 years out of them. I’d say these styles are for the modern momma and love the muted color pallets they are known for.

Target: some seasons of matching at Target are better than others, but generally they have wonderful affordable Holiday pajama options that are extra cozy. We’ve even gotten our dogs matching Christmas pajamas from Target to have them join in the fun.

Pajamas

Hanna Andersson: We lived in Hanna’s all throughout the baby years and I greatly enjoyed getting to cozy up in their pima cotton pajamas when we had holiday matching sets.

Little Sleepies: deliciously soft bamboo pajamas in a variety of fun prints! We love snagging their holiday pjs for the whole family.

Petidoux: the. softest. pajamas. ever. Our first matching pair was in our Easter baskets and I remember thinking that they were such a splurge. Now I don’t know how I could live without them. I’ve been wearing mine going on 3 years now and they still look great and feel divine.

Printfresh: I love the funky, bright prints of Printfresh’s pajamas! They get softer with each wash and last a long time.

Swimwear

Caden Lane: lots of options for Mommy/Daddy and baby! Not for older children.

Hermoza: Primarily matching swimwear but I do occasionally see everyday pieces added in.

Minnow: lots of matching swimwear options but also some everyday pieces.

I will continue to update this list of links as I find more great sites. Happy matching!
