Pizza Picnics

One of the ways i’m always trying to make our family moments a little more memorable is to take something simple and ask myself if I can somehow plus it up. Life sometimes seems like it’s moving at 100mph so often magical moments for me, as a Mom, are when I can just put a fun twist on existing plans.

Enter: pizza picnics. We took pizza night and moved it outside to our beloved waterproof picnic blanket and mealtime magic took over. Sometimes I make the pizza, sometimes its frozen, sometimes we order it. Regardless of how the ‘za is created there is something lovely about eating it on the blanket with the birds chirping and the sounds of summer surrounding us.

My daughter LOVES these simple picnics and would choose them over going out to eat any night. Sometimes the simple ideas are the best ones!
